“Why do I feel this way if nothing is wrong?”
On the surface, everything might look fine. You are functioning, showing up, doing what needs to be done. But inside, it feels different. Overwhelming, heavy, disconnected. You find yourself thinking: “Why do I feel this way when nothing is actually wrong?”
The answer is not in your thoughts, it is in your body, your nervous system to be precise. Your body responds not just to the present moment, but to everything it has learned and felt over time.
Early experiences, relationships, patterns you may have carried for years, even generations. So sometimes what you are feeling is not about now. It is your system recognising something underneath – and responding as it is not safe.
This is why you cannot always think your way out of it. Because it is not in your mind, it is in your body and the only way to heal it, is to allow yourself to feel it. This is where the magic happens.
There is nothing wrong with you and you are not on your own. Many of us have been there before and others are going through it right now, just like you. Your system is doing exactly what it was shaped to do. Change begins by creating enough safety for those patterns to gently release.
