About Me

Dr Cristina Martín-Fernández

I work with individuals and families who sense they are carrying more than their own story.

My work supports women, men, non-binary people, and parents navigating inherited emotional patterns, identity transitions, leadership pressure, and the quiet weight of unspoken family history.

This is deep, embodied work – not performance, not fixing – but a return to safety, truth and inner authority.

My Background

My background spans doctoral-level academic training focusing on cancer research, a long career in senior corporate environments, and years of immersive work in ancestral healing, nervous system regulation, and embodied spiritual practice through meditation. This combination allows me to meet complexity with clarity – holding both intellectual rigour and deep human sensitivity.

I am as comfortable supporting a senior leader navigating burnout or ethical dissonance as I am working with a parent or individual seeking to interrupt inherited patterns before they reach the next generation.

My work is grounded, ethical, and relational. I do not offer quick fixes or spiritual bypassing. I offer space – held with precision and care – for what has been carried silently to finally be met, to be embodied or released.

My Approach

I work at the intersection of body, lineage, and consciousness.

Rather than analysing problems in isolation, I listen to what is emerging through:

– the nervous system

– the emotional body

– ancestral and family systems

– shadow aspects shaped by adaptation and survival

Sessions unfold at a pace set by the body, not the mind. We work with what is present – gently, directly, and without forcing release or insight.

This approach allows:

– inherited patterns to soften naturally

– emotional regulation to restore itself

– clarity to emerge without pressure

– integration to happen in real life, not just insight

Healing here is not about becoming someone new. It is about returning to what has always been intact beneath adaptation.

Philosophy

I believe much of what we struggle with does not originate with us – yet it lives in our bodies, relationships and choices.

True healing honours:

– ancestral loyalty without remaining bound by it

– shadow without shame

– intelligence without disconnection

– spirituality without bypassing

I work from the understanding that safety precedes change, and that love – Munay – is not passive. It is attentive, discerning, and protective.

This work is not about erasing the past. It is about restoring dignity to the line and choice of the present.

Who this work is for

I work with people of all genders, sexual orientations, and family constellations.

This includes:

– women, men and non-binary people navigating life transitions, identity integration, or inner conflict

– LGBTQ+ individuals exploring belonging, embodiment, or inherited family dynamics

– leaders and professionals seeking grounded clarity and integrity in how they live and lead

– parents and caregivers – including LGBTQ+ parents – committed to breaking cycles and creating emotional safety for the next generation

– individuals who sense they are carrying emotional or relational patterns that did not begin with them.

My work honours identity without reducing you to it. Your experience is met in full complexity – personal, ancestral, cultural, and relational.

This work may not suits those seeking quick fixes, rigid frameworks, or approaches that separate healing from lived reality.
